इस कहानी की शुरुआत आज से 3 साल पहले हुआ था.  मेरा नाम है उमेश कुमार. मेरा भैया का शादी ठीक हुआ था दिन गुजरते गया और मेरा भैया का शादी हो गया मैं बहुत खुश था अपनी जिंदगी में हंसता खेलता था,गाता था, घूमता था, खाता था, पिता था, बहुत मस्त मौजी था मैं.  घर में सब खुश था क्योंकि घर में भाभी आया था. भाभी आया सब खुश था लेकिन मेरा हाल बेहाल हो गया . भाभी का दो बहन थी.  मुझे शुरुआत में पता नहीं था भाभी का एक बहन मुझ पर मरती थी..  जो भाभी की छोटी बहन थी.  क्या था उसका नाम..... हां याद आया... पुनीता..  उसे देखने के बाद जैसे कोई जादू सा चल गया था, अचानक से हवा रुक गई थी, चारों तरफ गुलाब की खुशबू थी, बस आंखों के सामने सिर्फ वह खड़ी थी.... जिंदगी में पहली बार मुझे ढंग से जीने का मतलब मिला..  मैं कभी सोचा नहीं था कि मुझे भी वह खराब सा रोग लग जाएगा..  उस रोग का नाम है ,,,,,,प्यार,,,,,, जो किसी के जिंदगी में आकर सब कुछ ठीक कर देता है ,और किसी के जिंदगी में आकर सब कुछ खत्म कर देता है..... लेकिन मेरे साथ दोनों ही हुआ था. पहले तो मेरी जिंदगी मे...
